Hymns In Yoruba Churches | Ep13 - Ki lo le we ese mi nu

If you grew up in a CAC church, this will make you feel nostalgic.

Which of the characters can you relate with the most?

Meanwhile, the message in this hymn is so liberating, to realise that the only liberation we will ever need from sin is in the blood of Jesus. All we have to do is accept him as our Lord and Saviour.

ISOJI BATTLE - Episode 1

A quick story on how/why I came up with this concept.

First of all, God gave me my creativity so all glory belongs to him.

Ehen oya read the story..

So sometime ago, I heard someone sang a song randomly somewhere and it was one of the revival songs we used to sing back in the days in my church, I was taken aback as to how I had not heard that song in over 15 years, and I realized I had even forgotten it if not that I heard it again on that day.

Then it dawned on me how most of these songs might go extinct if something is not done. So this is my own quota. I decided to make it dramatic/entertaining so it can attract the younger generation, especially the children, so while they are watching it for fun, they are subconsciously learning it and their spirits possibly being fired up/revived in the process.

Sorry for the plenty stories, oya watch the video below.

Please drop a comment, let me know what song you will like featured on the next episode.

OhEmGee Shoutouts

So I said I should use today to sell one of my markets ni o lol.

In case you didn't know, there is a service a render that caters to making customised music and videos for clients. It started as birthday shoutouts but has now spread to all forms - wedding anniversaries, proposals, engagements, even sometimes celebration of life.

Today's client is a young man that reached out to have something made for his parent's 28th wedding anniversary and this is the result below.

Primary School Oldies

Today we are throwing it all the waaaaay back to primary school days in the 80s and 90s. If there was like a school song chart board back then, these songs would definitely be on the hits tracks list lol.

Which of them is your favorite?

Heaven came down

If you were born in the 80's and probably early 90s, you should be able to sing this one offhand. In fact I believe it transcends through all generations. It is definitely one of my favorites, hence why I had to do my version.

Enjoy and celebrate with our today's OhEmGee Hymn of the day - Heaven came down.

Anasi Hallelujah | OhEmGee Worship Session

This song - Song of angels (Ndi Mo Zi) by Judikay - blesses me so much. Anytime it comes up during a worship session, I can't just explain what it does to me.

Like I must have said before, when I get to a deeper level of worship, I just go straight to singing in my mother tongue (Yoruba) - by the way the deepest level definitely is speaking in tongues.

Anyways, here is my version of the song and also an attempt to sing it in Yoruba, I hope it blesses you.
